PROJECTS

Esfahan Airport. New International Terminal (6,000 square meters.)

Ahwaz Metro Maintance Yard (8,000 square meters)

Note that no purlins or purlin supports are being used as the top layer of the space frame has box elements allowing the cladding to sit directly on the space frame.

Tehran International Tower Canopy (1,300 sq. meters.)

Shahrood Cable Factory (20,000 sq. meters.)

Persian Gulf International Airport, Assaluyieh (8,000 sq. meters.)

Due to a short timetable this 8,000 square space frame and 89 columns were designed, fabricated, powder coated, and assembled in 142 days.

Boeing 747 Hangar. Tehran Airport (85m by 92m)

Built in 1979-1980 and still the largest freespan space frame in Iran.

Chamran University Sports Hall, Ahwaz (42m by 42m)

The second space frame built in Iran using the KK System. Still in very good condition.

Dubai Car Wash (4,000 sq. meters)

Grand Central Car Service Center. United Arab Emirates, Dubai

LATEST NEWS

Mero Iran is changing its business model. Below you will find a brief description of our new products and services that we are offering. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information. (One) Mero Iran is no longer signing any domestic contracts and will only consider overseas projects. Clients from overseas should take note of foreign exchange rates between the Dollar and the Iranian Rial as our prices are now extremely competitive. Depending on span, snow loads, design, etc., and the exchange rate, we can offer a KK space frame for less than $60 per square meter. All components will be galvanized and powder coated with standards comparable to MERO-TSK which charges 300 Euro or higher per square meter. (Two) Mero Iran is offering the sale of KK space frame components; nodes, cones, bolts, and tube elements that are ready for assembly. All components are galvanized and powder coated in color of choice. All components are fabricated exactly according to specifications set by MERO Raumstruktur GmbH. (now MERO-TSK). Mero Iran was granted an exclusive license in 1971 and a complete set of fabrication drawings were given to Mero Iran by MERO Raumstruktur GmbH. Mero Iran was the only company to be granted such a license and is the only company that has possession of these original drawings besides MERO-TSK. In our photogallery you can see the first page of the license agreement and a copy of a sample fabrication drawing of a sleeve that shows the official MERO Raumstruktur GmbH stamps and signatures. For a complete current price list of components please contact us. Please note that given fluctuations in the foreign exchange rate prices change daily. (Three) Mero Iran is offering the technology transfer of the KK space frame system. This technology transfer can take place on several different levels: (Level A) We will supply a complete set of original drawings for the KK space frame system: (i) Component drawing. (ii) Drawings of jigs required to fabricate nodes, sleeves, etc. (iii) Required engineering specifications relating to the KK space frame system. (iv) Drawings of our past projects. (Level B) This would include full training for every step of fabrication plus Level A. (Level C) This would include sourcing necessary machinery plus Level B. (Level D) This would include setting up fabrication facility, getting it fully operational, plus Level C. (Level E) Full training in assembly process. (Level F) An alternative to sending workers to Iran to be trained is to purchase a video of every step of our production process. This is in English and an Arabic version can be made on request. There are subtitles and it shows ever step of fabricating nodes, sleeves, cones, and tube elements. Also the galvanizing and powder coating is also shown in detail. Cost: $30,000. (Prices) (Level A) $35,000 (Level B) $45,000 Training would take place at our factory in Ahwaz, Iran. Training for each additional person would be $5,000. (Level C) $50,000 (Level D) $70,000 All costs associated with our production personals expenses during the process of setting up and training would be covered by client. (Level E) $15,000. Mero Iran can also fabricate new jigs for fabricating nodes, sleeves, and other components and a price list is availabel on request. It should be noted that Mero Iran has designed and built a jig for machining nodes that require special angles i.e. non-forty five degree angles. Some companies purchase expensive CNC machines for making these nodes but our jig is comparable to a CNC and is actually faster in terms of number of nodes that can be fabricated per hour. We have made a video showing the operation of this jig and can make it available to interested parties. We can supply this jig for $25,000. A CNC machine that would do the exact same thing will cost at least $100,000, and will require a CNC operator where as our jib can be operated by a semi-skilled worker after a few days of training. It should be noted that none of the above violates any current sanctions that have been imposed on Iran. Sales Engineers familiar with space frames are welcome to contact us in the event they can assist in any of the above.
